Unwanted Pain during exercise

1. Pain Masking During Exercise:

   - When you're training your body releases endorphins during exercise that mask pain temporarily.

   - Increased blood flow and muscle warmth during activity can prevent immediate discomfort.

2. Post-Exercise Inflammation:

   - Pain or discomfort often appears after cooling down due to inflammation and swelling in stressed areas. I remember when I had my right side sciatica and lower back issues, getting out of the car after training felt almost impossible

   - This can be more pronounced if there's been microdamage to joints or the spine.

3. Importance of Proper Form:

   - this is obvious but many exercise-related injuries, especially to the spine and joints, stem from improper form or technique.

   - Not noticing the strain during exercise is common due to endorphin release and adrenaline. Be present when you're training. Get the most of being aware of your body

4. Prevention and Management Tips:

   - Include a warm-up that involves replicating the movement that you will do at a lower intensity or with weight.

   - Gradually increase workout intensity to avoid overwhelming your body. Don't jump into exercises you've seen on Instagram that involve movements that you NEVER do without at least trying it by breaking down the phases of the movement.
